Simon Sapper

Simon Sapper has 30 years’ experience as a senior national trade union official in the UK, first with Prospect and then the Communications Workers’ Union.

He is currently Director of Makes-You-Think Consultancy, a trustee of Unions 21, and also sits on the boards of Liberty and the Royal College of General Practitioners. His specialist areas include young workers and the Taylor Review.

Simon was appointed to the UK’s independent Low Pay Commission on 18 June 2018. His term ends on 17 June 2021.
